Not alone, OP. What affection I have for "Lost" is based entirely on the happiness it brought to a friend of mine, I have no love for the show itself. I found it boring and incomprehensible.

"BSG"...I outright loathe it. I found it squicky and dull with no likable characters. (Likable actors, sure, but there wasn't a character on there that I could bring myself to give a flying fuck about.) I'm with the people above me who said that they like sci-fi that's optimistic and inspiring. I'm just not into the whole "humans are shit, in case you forgot" school of science fiction. (And to be honest, whenever I tried "BSG," I sort of ended up sympathizing a little with the Cylons. I don't know if it was an extremely unlucky coincidence that every episode I tried had the humans acting way worse, or if the writers wanted me to sympathize with the Cylons, but... that happened, so there you go.)
