No offense to you OP but I think having a Sheldon would only negatively impact your life, afterall if people were finding you annoying imagine what having Sheldon around would have done? He's an amusing character and I love him but as a person, he'd suck. He's not a good friend, he's entirely self involved and Amy is often the one that often has to teach him to be nice to others.

I don't know how you were like Amy, but it's okay to be a little odd, as long as that oddness isn't used as an excuse to be rude to others. But you seem self aware enough so I'm sure you're a nice person :)

My partner is the best and somewhat quirkest parts of Sheldon and Leonard combined. It's interesting at times but frustrating at the same time. It was funny too when I first introduced him to my coworkers, my friend when "You're dating -Sheldon Cooper-" I hadn't seen the show at that time, lacking cable but needless to say it was somewhat accurate in some respects.

If you had had a Sheldon you may to have learnt not to be like that all the time. But perhaps you would have had someone relatable to spend time with?

I keep on getting compared to Sheldon. I feel like he is a not particularly good character to be compared to, yet the comparisons still amuse me. My brother bases the comparison on his belief I give horrible hugs. My aunt bases it on my apparently rambling and giving too much information. I think I have also been given several other reasons.
