It was pretty much a showcase for Christina Aguilara to explain to the world why she's perfect in every way. After an hour and a half of hearing her over-do every line of every song, though, I now cringe whenever one of her songs comes on.

Honestly I could take or leave her character in that movie, but I give Burlesque a pass because it's got Cher. And Stanley Tucci. And also I really like the songs but I try not to admit that too much.

I don't get it either. I find her to be a big sweetheart and I love her voice and music. But I then again she was bullied her whole school life. I think she's just guardian herself against most people.

However it is perfectly ok to just have an irrational dislike for pop musicans. I know I have that for Katy Perry.

This movie made me hate stupid teenage girls who buy a ticket to see a movie and then throw up their legs in the air the whole time, burping & talking loudly. And also those who call their boyfriend as you sit next to them and wish you had bought a big cup of coke to pour over their stupid head.
