I love your icon, though it took me a moment to catch the reference! I sometimes wonder if that stage direction only exists because the company got a bear costume and we like "hey, Willy, you have to work this into your next play". Yeah.

LOL, it's even better! There were bear pits right near the Globe, so it's totally possible that Willy would borrow a bear for whenever they did a performance and actually had it chase people off stage. And presumably it didn't attack the groundlings, because we probably would have heard about it.

OMG River Song icon FTW. As I said in the secret, I've just got my foot in the door at the moment, they liked my outline and sample and I just have to finish the actual book (of which I lack about two chapters).

Indeed they are. Though I did facepalm when it dawned on me because (at least to me) it is very obvious who they are modeled after... the woman in the novel is described to look like a younger Zoe and her love interest could easily meet the same physical description as Wash. They even interact with each other as Zoe and Wash do. XD
