(Anonymous) 2011-07-16 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)When somebody gets to that kind of point in his or her life, it's... people say it's selfish, suicide. But it's not. It's narrow. Suicide is the end of a hallway that gets narrower and narrower. At first your life is a whole house, full of people and activities and memories and plans. And slowly the house starts losing rooms, until all that's left is this narrow hallway, that just keeps getting narrower. There isn't room for anything. Not friends, not family, not music, not reason. Certainly not selfishness.
Sometimes, there are things that'll get a person out of that hallway. Sometimes, there aren't. You did what you could. Don't feel bad.
