Wait, you don't understand? Seriously?

It's totally possible to be pro-choice and in support of a woman's right to have an abortion while still thinking of it as a morally inappropriate choice (and I say this as someone who is usually totally fine with anyone's choice to have an abortion, both legally AND morally). I actually find it very laudable that there are people on the pro-choice side who don't let their anti-abortion principles get in the way of supporting the legal rights of women to have access to a choice that they themselves would never make.

(Now, the secret maker didn't specifically say she is pro-choice, but I hope that she is)

In any case, finding you like a character less than you did before because they made a moral choice you don't agree with? There's nothing wrong with that.

No, actually. If you judge women who get abortions, then you are not pro-choice. And you can kindly keep your mouth shut about it, because the last thing the pro-choice movement needs is more anti-choicers infiltrating under the mistaken belief that they are pro-choice. Because you aren't.

Embracing that a choice should be offered legally does not mean one has to support it personally. A vegetarian can look down on people who eat meat, but at the same time still think they should be able to make that choice for themselves.

Or if you would prefer - if you're claiming that I'm anti-choice, do you want me to go vote that way?

This. And thanks for posting. Because the above comment was so completely wrong, and I couldn't think of a way to phrase why it was so wrong in a way that the commenter could comprehend.
