I didn't say it was better.

To clarify, I like that she did something and then immersed herself in the issue enough to make a documentary. I find that interesting. I like her more, knowing that she went through such a project and, as the other commenter said, supported her stance on the matter in a convicted, decisive manner.

Personally, I like her more, not for having had one, but for being brave enough to speak publicly it. That is still not an issue many women can be honest about without fear.

I wouldn't say it's 'better,' but often when someone likes someone less because of their abortion it is influenced by unresolved anti-choice sentiments and slut-shaming. Considering how much pressure is put on women NOT to have abortions, and the contention surrounding the procedure as a whole, I can understand why someone would admire a woman for deciding it was the right thing for them and going through with it, despite all the nasty labels it would gain her.
