Oh god I hope he comes back.

I'd also love for him to meet Jack. (And for Eleven to meet Jack. And River. I just miss Jack...)

I desperately want Eleven and Jack to meet so I can justify shipping it like I do.

My friend and I have a theory that Eleven wears braces/suspenders because Jack does.

Add Canton's fiance to that list and I'm sold.

I want him as a series regular so bad.

Basically this. sd;klfj Canton. I want to see him and his fiance get married. It would be epic.

Also, if Jack does not come back at least once before Eleven regenerates then there is no justice in the world.

FWIW, John Barrowman really, really wants to come back; the scheduling just hasn't worked out. Apparently he was in the original draft for "A Good Man Goes to War" but it conflicted with Torchwood filming.

Can we have a spin-off? Please?

Or can he be thrown into the future and join Torchwood or something?

Joining Torchwood wouldn't be doing an favors for his life expectancy.

I would love to have Canton back! I'd be a fan of that series seven line-up, too (though I do like Amy and Rory pretty well, too).

I like the Ponds quite a bit, but I cannot fault the awesomeness of this.

I liked him but fandom's enthusiasm for this guy surprises me a bit.

He kind of has something for everyone. He's a badass from the future, he's hilarious, he's gorgeous and bisexual. Personally, I love all of those things about him.

(Obviously, most of those things are subjective, but I know it's what *I* think about the character.)

Oh no, I love Jack, I meant Canton.
...I mean, if that's who you meant. (Curse those pronouns.)

A) It's Mark Sheppard.
B) It's a badass character who matter of factly states he's gay after he's done being badass.
C) He's played by Mark Sheppard.

Your icon is flawless.

And it kinda surprised me too, but I think a lot of it has to do with some of his earlier roles (Badger or something?). The fans loved him there, so they're thrilled that he's come to another great show.
