HAHAH that pic made me LOL!

I've tried listening to podfic. It's a little peculiar at times--listening to, say, Supernatural fanfic read in a British accent takes some getting used to. I did enjoy it though.

Haven't been able to dare trying an NC-17 podfic though... I'd probably blush through the ground in displaced embarrassment.

My friends and I get together to read bad american idol fanfic and record ourselves. I listen to that sometimes and laugh but I dont think I could legit listen to podfic and take it seriously. I tried once and I cringed so hard. I can't understand why anyone would want the NC17 ones read aloud either. So uncomfortable.

I'd listen to anything that man read. It was the only reason I went to see 'Hitchhikers Guide'(then stayed for the Martin Freeman goodness).

Stephen Fry tricked me into getting audiobooks! I was firmly against the idea before people directed me to his HP ones and I was forced to discover that I perhaps don't loathe audiobooks like I had hoped. But, seriously, OP, I would happily listen to computer manuals all day if Stephen Fry read them to me.

Ha, I'm going to try this from now on. Also, I love your icon. That whole scene might be my favorite part of Series 5. I love how in the background in The Big Bang, you can hear Rory telling someone that the Doctor was the stripper at his stag.

you should check out his audiobooks reading Wilde's children's stories and Saki short stories.
now that I think of it, I realize that I lost those audios in a computer accident, and they're too expensive to rebuy.

I've never actually listened to a Podfic, but there are a couple fics I'd make one of. Notably, that one House/Wilson fic where House kills Wilson and has freaky necro action with him, including but not limited to eyeball licking. It'd be the best Podfic in all the land. The world would thank me.

If Stephen Fry would like, he may feel free to take over for me on that one, though. It might be for the best.
