I'm not saying they are a horrible person...but I think some soul-searching might be in order. OP is having issues with her friend's sexuality and since they enjoy slash, I would say with their own sexuality in extension of that. Because they are stuck in a nasty piece of cognitive dissonance in which they are uncomfortable about the r/l implications of what turns them on. I do not know how strong either feeling is - it might be mild discomfort, or they may be mildly into slash.But in any case, this set-up can lead to repression on the OP's end, and to general unpleasant behaviour towards others on the other.

In any way, for the sake of this friendship to work, there might be several issues in need of working out there. Again, I do not know how strong the friendship is, but I'm here assuming that a friendship worth writing secrets about is a friendship worth salvaging.
