Yep. There was a politically charged thread a few days ago that had two commenters on one side, and about five plus a whole host of anons on the other, hostilities being roughly equal... yet the latter side wound up accusing the former of "dogpiling". Really? Either someone was sockpuppeting and same!anoning up a storm, or that word has lost all meaning.

Just as "Mary-sue" has become "female character I don't like", we may have to adjust "dogpiling" to "more than one person disagrees with me, no matter how politely or intelligently".

It's dogpiling in the sense that every single reply to it was some variation "Lol no your secret is incorrect". It absolutely is the OP's opinion and all these Walken stans need to gtfo.

Hey, OP is just expressing an opinion. Opinions are magical because, since there's no accounting for taste, they can never be wrong. And disagreeing with opinions is bad because OP has a right to express their opinion, but you don't have a right to express your disagreement, because that's dogpiling.

Annnnnnd it absolutely is the opinions of the respondents that the OP is incorrect, which they stated in polite and humourous ways. I'd imagine the OP knew it was an unpopular opinion, hence why it was a secret - which these polite and humourous responses bear out.

The only thing that could possibly be considered insulting that I've seen in this thread is "all these Walken stans need to gtfo", thus far.
