I totally agree with you, anon. I mean, it's hard to make concrete text-based arguments either way since you get so little stage time with the Montagues, but there's just something about the overall tone of their lines about each other that gives me the impression that they actually, well give a shit about each other. Although I admit I'm also a little confused as to why this is a secret.

Also, pretty unrelated, but am I the only one who gets a little annoyed that Lady Capulet is always cast way too old? She talks about her age in one scene, and if you do the math, she's supposed to be in her late twenties at most.
