7. Oh! Is that Monster? <3 I haven't watched the anime, but I love the manga (just bought the latest volume yesterday). Great plot, great art, and Dr. Tenma's way cool :D Yay for being a fellow fan!

9. Awesome. XD An apple a day keeps the shinigami away?

14. Me too. When I see lots of "I secretly hate..." or "I can't stand people who..." secrets, it kind of brings me mood down. Not that there's anything wrong with writing secrets like that, 'cause it's good to vent! But I find the types of secrets you mentioned you liked as being more interesting most of the time.

Oh yeah, and using my Haibane Renmei icons as a nod to 12. Some of my offline friends tend to get all shippy-centric over almost anything they get into, and me not being a shipper it gets frustrating when they talk endlessly about their OTPs and nothin' else.

Yes, it is. And your icon too- Haibane Renmei. I think I love you.

But am I the only one who feels like they could never do it justice? (Monster)

A fellow Monster fan and a Haibane Renmei fan? You just got even cooler, Miss/Mister Anonymous.

And no, you're not the only one. There's just so much detail present in that series, both in the surroundings and the lives of all the different people encountered throughout, that could be tricky to emulate in a fanfic. Not to mention writing the multilayered characters accurately, and all the research that might have to be done!

Writing for it would be a difficult task, certainly, but I say it's not an impossible one! I say if you feel inclined to write for the fandom, then please go for it :) You'll never know 'till you try!

... And Mai HiME :)

I would, but a) I haven't got nearly enough time on my hands and b) Even so I just somehow couldn't bring myself to try. I'd be terrified of writing something cataclysmically disastrous.

Oh! You even recognized Yukino, too? So far I haven't found many other MH fans, so it's thrilling to find more!

I wish I could do something about the lack of time, but I seriously doubt whatever you wrote would end up a cataclysic disater! You seem to be a well-spoken person with a sense of what they'd be getting into by writing Monster-related works, and I think that can really make all the difference sometimes. You'd already be aware of and would respect the fact that writing for it would require a lot of work, which would probably result in a well-thought out story that pays attention to canon. So don't worry, I'm not seeing any potential for disaster! XD

Mai HiME > Otome

And I suppose trying at least wouldn't hurt
