... I'm seriously, seriously puzzled at this news. I thought passing and playing dress-up was the fun part? :/ Hmmmmmmmm.

If you happen to remember any of the profiles or whatever, I'm still trying to rationalize this in my head and they would be helpful.

Whoa, those sound like an interesting in a trainwreck way kind of story (uhh, this comment and the other one).

I've never personally run across a girl that's said she's a boy for no reason or something? before (uh like transgender people yeah a couple but not the roleplaying-thing you're talking about) so I don't know about that, but that might explain why people sometimes refuse to believe I'm actually male... *dies* I don't really care but I can see how that gets annoying to some people fast.

I've had people be all you're lying!! you're actually a girl! and I'm like "lol" and they're like ... but you ARE really butch and then I lol harder aegkjagnkdjvbhn Uhhh actually I'm the opposite I think, I used to pretend to be a girl to fit in. *dies*

Sometimes I think it'd be fun to be a girl, just so I could be all SGHSKFJGHJTHISSERIESISSOCOOLEEE or something and not have people be all WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU. ):

LOL, yes, exactly. People go all back and forth on my gender, online and sometimes irl. Like, years ago I was always assumed to be a guy. Then, at some point, it was decided that fandom is all female. And now I go back and forth on whether it's amusing or irritating or what. :(

It is kind of funny to watch people avoid pronouns, though.
