'Monster' ruined me for all other anime/manga (well, okay, except 'Death Note', I read and enjoyed 'Death Note'...). It is simply mesmerizing and I'm always thrilled to find other fans. I've even written a simple, melancholy fic. I also made a music video. Seriously. Ruined me. For everything else.

My best friend and I are similarly obsessed and we will now gauge everything Josh Olsen writes/everything New Line Cinema produces as a barometer of how good the live action Monster movie will eventually be. But we just can't fathom who could ever convincingly play Johan.

I'm not completely ruined, but I find I compare anything else similar or in a similar genre. And Death Note was good to a point.

I'm interested in the Live Action Movie too. Because it could be a amazing, or it could be like the DN Live Action and simply Fail.

Ditto here - Monster is one of the measuring sticks I weigh other manga against.
