1. How does nobody on FS understand about compartmentalization? Just don't tell your friends you read yaoi, it's not goddamn hard!

Uh, I understand the concept of compartmentalisation but I'm always afraid that I'll fuck it up in practice (post the wrong link, send the wrong email). I never have yet, but I'm a bit neurotic that way.

All you have to do is double-check anything you're really worried about, and keep in mind who you're talking to IRL. Maybe it's easier for me because I'm a very private person, but I've got maybe one friend who knows I do anything fandom-related, and I've been in fandom since quite probably 2001.

It helps if you completely separate your RL internet activities from your fandom ones. I have separate e-mails (which means I'll never send an e-mail to the wrong person, because my fandom address book doesn't have any of my RL contacts, and vice versa), separate livejournals, and even separate facebook pages. And I always log out of everything before I switch between the two, just in case. Sounds a bit obsessive and neurotic, but it's become habit and to date I've never slipped up.

Pretty much the only mistake you can make with that is forgetting to log back in once you've logged out. And then you end up accidentally posting anonymous comments. As above.

I feel fine about them, but the next thing I did was reading through the entire section on ff.net so it might be nothing new. ^^" sorry

Anyway, I thought most of the stuff on this website wasn't on FF.net when I posted originally, but then I actually checked, and whoops. Just in case:

Also, I know for a fact Vathara's "Urban Legends" massively multiplayer crossover AU had a lot of Godzilla: TAS for a while there, and you might have overlooked it due to being part of a series. The major crossovers for the GTAS bits were Gargoyles and The Real Ghostbusters with a hint of Airwolf, if that makes a difference. Just go to her profile on FF.net and scroll down. Actually, anything tagged as part of that 'verse is pretty good, and I feel no compunctions reccing it if the summaries hit your fancy. However, the fics involved made up a pretty good chunk of the FF.net archive, so you likely already hit it. Sorry I wasn't much of a help!
