If it bugs you, it bugs you; that's what venting on f!s is all about. But I use "noncon" as a euphemism for "rape" in the same way people use "watersports" for "urine play," for example. Using euphemisms is a long-standing tradition for kink descriptions, especially those which make others say "ewwww."

If it helps, I'm annoyed when "noncon" is interpreted as anything other than "rape."
