I can only speak for the American side, but just because a show is made in the US doesn't mean it will have an automatic HUGE fandom. We only send a fraction of our shows overseas. And only a fraction are uploaded by fans. There are a ton of programs that come and go that never build a huge fandom. And because of this, you never hear of them.

Also, we are a population of 300+ million. If a show is popular here, it's bound to have a higher number of fans. Most of which will talk online, which may spark the interest of non-Americans. There is power in numbers.

Ugh. I can't stand the show for the annoying/boring stereotypes it perpetrates.

The fat social reject - A virgin who's issues revolve around lack of self-esteem.
The sexy, leggy Asian - A self-centered moron who uses her looks to sleep around. But all she really wants is someone to look past her pretty face and ~love her for who she is.~
The office chick with a slightly harsh face - A responsible career-driven woman. She is constantly unamused with her friends' wacky ways.
The 'normal' girl next door - A pretty, but not a bombshell, girl next door. She lives a relatively normal life and is supposed to be the most relateable.


Just once it would be nice to see a fat girl who's drama doesn't revolve around her being fat, and a gorgeous thin girl who's still a virgin and is self-conscious about her looks.
