... rather they over-eat or self-abuse through a eating disoder, ALWAYS blame someone else? It is always "the media made me do it" or "I wasn't loved enough!"

Other addicts can admit they did damage to their bodies/lives, why can't you?

Hi. Person with food issue here. :) Kindly fuck off and stop lumping us all together, thanks. Are you actually trying to imply that no cocaine or alcohol addict ever blamed someone else for their problem? Oh no it's just the food people who can't own up to being out of control of their lives.

I didn't say nobody has ever done it, BUT in general addicts are taught they suffer from an addiction and must learn better choices. They don't make fandomsecrets blaming random actors/actresses they never met.....

And you really aren't making your kind anymore likeable.

Fandomsecrets is hardly an accurate representation of everyone in a group. If that were the case, no one would like anything, and this place would cease to be.

This amuses me due to the number of alcoholics and drug users I have known. Pretty much all of them have blamed someone/something else for "making" them use.

'nother person with food issues here, anorexia-to-EDNOS-to-bulimia.
It's my fault, has always been my fault, and will always be my fault, because my addictive behaviours are my own personal defect.
However understandable it is to want to be able to blame someone for your pain, anyone who says a celebrity or 'the media' MADE them eating disordered is deluded.
