All this does is further the constant state of "just can't do anything right" that women, and in this case specifically celebrity women, in this culture are stuck in. Overweight? She's a terrible role model and ugly and fat and how dare she. Thin? She perpetuates unrealistic images of women and she made me develop and eating disorder. Women just can't fucking win, and statements like "Meghan Fox is the reason I'm bulimic" are just as problematic as "that woman needs to lose weight." If OP has an eating disorder that was triggered by unrealistic standards foisted on women by the media, that's completely reasonable and is definitely a problem that should be talked about. But OP didn't say that. They said that she, Meghan Fox, caused OP to have an eating disorder. Which is just bullshit.
