Ok, in a nutshell (it's been awhile since I read the lot):
Aisha and Christopher: A strange woman showed up and began living with Christopher and Aisha was annoyingly jealous until it was revealed the woman, Kendra, was his sister. It was later revealed that Christopher had been married before and his ex had a baby. She was into drugs. Somehow it got resolved and Christopher (obviously) was not the father. They didn't get married but they were engaged and happy at the end of the series.
Claire and Aaron broke up eventually because he just couldn't stay faithful. Claire went to uni and fell into an amazing love/hate relationship with a guy called Paolo, who drove her mad and got the best of her all the time, but clearly adored her. They lived happily ever after.
Benjamin's surgery did not work and he lapsed into a deep depression and broke up with Nina. Kate (a new and very annoying girl) showed up and kissed Benjamin, so Nina went bonkers and ran away. Benjamin, still blind, decided to go and find her. He randomly found her and at that moment got his sight back and declared Nina to be the most beautiful girl in the world evah. But he then became a complete arse. He and Nina broke up because he wanted to do active things like surfing and she wanted their relationship to stay the same - staying in, watching movies, etc.
Jake became an alcoholic and met Lara (Zoey and Benjamins' drunk half-sister), they hooked up. Something caused him to sober up, but Lara had moved to the island by then, and she wanted him bad, but Jake was into Kate (Lucas' cousin or something like that). A fight kicked off at a party and Kate got injured, Jake stepped in and saved her, but she was woozy and didn't see his face but kept a bit of the shirt he was wearing. Lara put rest of the shirt in Benajamin's closet and tricked Kate into believing it was Benjamin (see above re: kiss). Zoey figured out what happened and set Kate straight on which guy she wanted. Kate and Jake got together and were happy. Lara swore revenge. Kate then lapsed into depression (two books about how she just played solitaire all day, accurate but not exactly riviting stuff) and had to leave the island, so Jake ended up alone.

So did Christopher actually join the army like he said he would? Did he go to university? I mean, he worked his arse off to afford it...
What did Aaron actually do? Wasn't his mother married to Claire's father? Isn't that just a little... weird?
Was Kate actually related to anyone on the island? (I just can't imagine why anyone would move there voluntarily. Also, these kids are round 18 and I can't see the island being a massive land of opportunity. And if she had to support herself I don't see how she could have done that and been depressed and unmedicated to the point where she played Solitaire all day.)
Did they ever mention why Benjamin was blind in the first place? All I know was that he wasn't blind from birth. I think I actually picked up one of the later books and it mentioned he was surfing or something. How did Nice Classical Music Liking Boy turn into Obnoxious Surfer Doooode anyway? And could the sudden restoration of his sight have come at a cheesier moment? Seriously, I can't think of any way that would work medically.
And Jake just ends up alone. Poor alcoholic miserable-family Jake. What happened with him and Louise Kronenberger? Did anyone in his family off themselves because from what I remember they were all a bit screwed over Wade's death? (And didn't he have a little sister called Holly who was in the first book but evaporated by #11?) Why did Lara just want to fuck everyone around anyway? Was she simply determined to be the biggest pain in the arse at all costs?

Aaron and Claire just fizzled, I don’t think they every officially broke up. Claire went to a party, with sexy undies, ready to “give him her virginity” (as they always had to call it) and was delayed, by the time she got there Aaron was having sex with some other girl. Claire tried to split up her father and Aaron’s mother, and it worked, but then she had a change of heart when she saw how unhappy her father was, so put them back together again. Aaron went off touring with his band and was never seen again. Claire called him once or twice for moral support when she was being stalked but he wasn’t interested. They never officially ended it, but that was the end for them.
Kate wasn’t actually related to anyone, she was the same age as the Zoey and co. I think she was the daughter of Lucas’ mom’s best friend, and referred to Lucas’ parents as aunt and uncle. I think she had a photography/art course in Weymouth and the Cabrals offered to house her because of the long-standing family friendship. I don’t think she worked, although she might have waitressed at Passmores’ Restaurant. She was not a great character. Eventually her mother came and took her home to look after her.
Benjamin caught meningitis when he was very young which is when he lost his sight. He got very excited about being able to see again, he also took up art. He got lessons from his half-sister, Lara, which made Zoey seethe with rage because Zoey was all about the Lara-hate.
Jake just kind of got his act together, went to uni and lived with Claire for a bit due to a dorm mix-up. I don’t think they knew what to do with him once he was sober because he just lurked around doing very little except for sometimes having a crush on Zoey. His family was fine, and I think Holly might have been in a scene in the final book, so she didn’t die or anything. She just wasn’t very important. Like Kalif, Aisha’s brother, sometimes he was in a lot of one book and then you’d go 12 books without hearing about him.
Lara hated Zoey for the reasons that everyone appears to hate Zoey. She was far too perfect. Lara thought Zoey had the life that Lara should have had, instead of growing up with abusive alcoholics. Zoey hated Lara because Zoey hates anyone who steals the spotlight (read the first book Kate is in for examples).

Lucas’ dad died and he had to take over the fishing business to keep the family afloat (did you see what I did there? “afloat”! I’m funny) and Zoey was very selfish about the whole thing, like when Lucas had been up since 2:00 am fishing, she’s in a mood because he got home, fell asleep and slept through the alarm clock and missed their date, or when she was all “I’m going to uni! Yay!” and he was all “I’ve got to fucking fish for the rest of my fucking life, woe!” she was slighted that he wasn’t all “Zoey’s going to uni to become an awesome writer! Yay!” or when she didn’t get into Stanford she thought that was more tragic than not going at all and having to fish for a living. Lucas is the selfish one in that relationship because Zoey, every so often, would sigh pityingly and say “Oh, poor Lucas”.
Nina, on the other hand, was like “Dude, you’re your own boss and that’s awesome, but why not take some local college courses, here, I’ll get some information and we’ll try and find some that fit around your fishing schedule” and offered to go out on the boat to help him, so naturally they had a fling.
Zoey ran away to uni, and Lara was like the Passmores only child (because Benji was at uni too), and she became moderately happy and well-adjusted and took some art classes and got her own show. And then EPIC TRAGEDY. The house caught fire and Lara died saving Mr and Mrs Passmore.
Zoey’s all “Waaah, I was enjoying uni and now I have to come home and man the restaurant because my folks are nearly burned to death and now we’re broke and I can’t afford uni any more!” and Ben’s all “Waah, my half-sister died” and somehow Zoey gets more sympathy.
Lucas tells Zoey off, Nina apologises profusely, and somehow they end up all making up and living happily ever after. Zoey and Lucas get back together, Claire’s with Paolo, Aisha and Christopher are together, Benjamin and Nina aren’t together (she’s too good for him anyway) but he’s starting to want her back and then it ends.
Seriously, get the books!
