(Anonymous) 2007-06-19 01:09 am (UTC)(link)But, you as the admin has to start posting. It doesn't matter if there's 'not enough members yet' you can always repeat conversations later on. Post more introductiony stuff. Post some random thoughts. Post a request that people post. Post a summary of the (show?). You don't have to totally spam, just once a week or something. Encourage new members to make introduction posts, with their age, location, how they first got into it. And post your own.
I see you've only got 6 members so far, four who aren't maintainers. Well, advertise. That may seem obvious, and you might be saying 'but where!'. Don't expect hundreds of new members, it'll be slow growth. Just the two of you, keep an eye out, ANYWHERE you can advertise, do it. Subtley and encouragingly. Also since it looks fairly obscure, you might want to have a short summary of the show, in your info. Your rules are good. :) And it looks like it has a lot of potential. Just don't wait around for people to come to you, you have to put yourself out there a little.
I hope this helps at all.
Good luck!
