T:TSCC!!!

Don't even get me started. Chuck has to be one of the most boring shows ever.

- Mission, we should investigate!
- Chuck, you should stay in the Van.
- Dammit! Chuck left the van!, sarah you should go and flirt/save him!
- Casey, you should beat the crap out of someone!
- Add irrelevant and not funny at all Buy more plot.

Repeat for 5 seasons.

That is exactly why I couldn't keep watching the first (and a fair bit of the second) season. I am so in the minority though by thinking the Chuck-Fu really turned the show around.

Okay, while I want to marry Zach Levi and I still enjoy Chuck (minus Jeffster), I still would have traded all it's post S2 seasons for one more of T:SCC.

I like Chuck now. Less so when it was first starting.

Journeyman needs a fandom, like, yesterday. To date, that is still my favorite show. It's my Firefly.

TSCC was definitely going in places I liked and wanted to see more of, but the "Sarah's Psyche" episodes kind of dragged season two down as did NEVER having a good idea of what Weaver's plan was until the end. But John Henry singing with Savannah -- in fact, that whole episode -- was amazing.

I actually really liked Knight Rider, both when it started AND when it made its very obvious shift in tone and style (which surprised me, because I was very against the idea of Team Knight Rider and the "KITT-cave" when I first heard it). Buf if you thought there was any chance on this earth it would get five seasons...that's kind of crazy.

I also really liked My Own Worst Enemy. I think if it had hung on a little longer it might have benefitted from some of the Twilight/Team Jacob/Taylor Lautner buildup and momentum. Of course, that probably would not have been fun for Lautner and would only have facilitated the "We should get someone else to play Beefy!Jacob!" sentiment.

Uggh, I only got into Journeyman like two episodes before it got canceled. At first I was like "whatever" and then I sat down to watch it with my mom and was like "THIS IS LIKE QUANTUM LEAP, YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST TOLD ME THAT AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL OVER IT!"

I watched Journeyman from the beginning and for me, it was like Quantum Leap... if Sam Beckett had put things right that once went wrong mostly by accident, employing not a lot of actual brainwork but simply relying on whatever was jumping him around in time to have put him in the right place at the right time. One of the things I always loved about QL was that often the solution wouldn't have happened if Sam hadn't been the particularly sensitive, caring person he was. In contrast, Dan Vasser often had the problem solved for him just because he had been put there with knowledge of the future that would happen if he didn't intervene. YMMV, of course.

Aww, Knight Rider... I really liked the reboot of that. Was very sad to see it canceled after only one season. ; . ;

Journeyman and MOWE had that 10 timeslot on Mondays just after Heroes. Both shows were, when they aired, frequently much, much better than Heroes. (I know, most people will argue about when Heroes started sucking, but I hung on until halfway through the last season, shut up.)

Journeyman was really, really amazing. Really amazing. The acting was top notch, the stories deep and well-written... I am not only still sad that it's gone, I'm really pissed that it's still not out on DVD.

MOWE is even out on DVD! I loved it just because of how unseriously it took itself, and it granted me a deep appreciation of Christian Slater. (Breaking In needs to come back. Although The Forgotten was pretty quickly forgotten.) It was just so much fun.

I kinda left Knight Rider in the dust, sadly. I just couldn't get into it after the first couple episodes, tho I wanted to. I did flip into that episode with Peter Cullen voicing KARR though. Because my Transfan self couldn't pass that up.

Never seen Chuck or Sarah Connor Chronicles, so I can't really comment on those.

I'm a passionate fan of like 6 canceled shows, but the one I want to come back more than anything ever? TSCC. ;___; I also tried watching Chuck because Summer Glau was guest-starring (also because one of my friends kept pestering me so I finally gave in), got to her episode, was skeeved out by the up-the-leg shot, and promptly abandoned ship.

Ugh, yeah, Jeffster in that episode was particularly bad. I don't mind some cheesecake but Chuck goes overboard sometimes.

Summer is going to be on Alphas if you're curious and so far that show has been really pleasing (there are females who have relationships and actually talk and support each other!).

Yeah, and honestly I had had problems with it from the very beginning (Yvonne Strahovski is beautiful but I do not particularly want to see her in lingerie and tight catsuits in every single episode thank you very much), that was just the final straw for me. And I've seen a lot of Summer's shows, where she's been naked (like Firefly and TSCC) but this was the first time I felt grossed out and pervy. :/

Yes, I saw the trailer she's in! I'm skeptical of the actual show but now I might actually check it out for more than Summer, thanks! :)

Okay, let's get real here. Not one of these shows should have ever had a second season (I state this having never seen most of them). None of them had the ratings, which is why the bottom four got cut (although it is sad to see good shows die).
Amongst the reasons that Chuck lived included that it was on NBC, which consistently hasn't been performing well. Chuck didn't need to have great ratings to look like it was doing great on that network.

(Come on. Terminator. On Fox? I remember looking at the first print ad for that show and thinking "CANCELED." You had to know it was coming.)

Actually T:SCC was performing pretty well on Mondays. It wasn't until they moved it to Fridays that it started to slip and even then they spent most of their marketing on Dollhouse's opener not so much the move to Fridays for T:SCC.

UGH. I WANTED T:SCC SO FREAKING BAD. I think it's the one I'll never get over.

Glad this is Chuck's last season and that it's actually lasted as long as it has. I... don't love all the new things they've done, but a lot of them have been pretty enjoyable and I hope the next season now that they know it's an ending (and Ellie finally fucking KNOWS) can go out with a bang.

Journeyman's cancellation pissed me off!! It was beyond well acted and well written!!! It was a show that could have lived on for more than one season, that was what really pissed me off. It could have done the weekly one shot story arc for a season and half and then gone for something bigger as the show progressed, but nooooo it had to be cancelled. Hell, if it had remained the same, I wouldn't have minded. I love Kevin McKidd.
