Oh I agree completely, anon. Norrington stole my heart in the first movie (as a 13 year old back in the day I desperately tried to hide the fact that I was severely crushing on the guy with the wig and tried to convince everyone I liked Orlando Bloom instead. It didn't work) and I really wanted to see more of him. I'm glad we got to see Gillette and Groves, but it wasn't the same....
(ESPECIALLY since their deaths were basically as lame as his was in the third movie. Gaah. They deserved more!)

This, pretty much. :p Except I was 15 at the time (and oh, my - realising that I was 15 in 2003 somehow managed to make me feel very old, all of a sudden. How quaint. XD)
I like OB better in PotC than in any other work he's been in, but..ehh..that's not saying much. :p

I was 18 in 2003, so I was more, "HAHAHAHA I'M A LEGAL ADULT NOW, I CAN CRUSH ON WHOEVER I WANT, INCLUDING THE GUY IN THE WIG, GO TO HELL, SUCKAS."

... but now, shall we say, certain people my age have switched the argument against my crushes from "it'd be pedophilia if you hooked up in real life" to "he's old enough to be your parent so it's gross." So I still must hate people.

And Jack Davenport was amazing. The movie should have been Royal Navy of the Caribbean.

Haha, I tried to tell my friends that I was crushing on Johnny Depp at first, because they all were. After a while, I gave up and told them I liked Norrington the most.

They actually didn't believe me.
