Bizarrely enough, the thing that irked me were those Harry Potter comparisons. Hermione is dumpy? I'm racking my mind as to whenever JKR mentioned Hermione ever looking like that. The chick's got frazzled crazy hair and buck teeth but I never heard of her being dumpy. And that's just looks alone. Hermione's loyal and intelligent and willing to go against her own personal beliefs [following the rules, listening to teachers] if it means helping and/or saving her friends.

Fleur is shallow? Buddy, her fiance was bitten by a werewolf and she was basically told that he was going to be kind of wolfish and his face. His FACE completely disproves your point about Fleur being shallow. He was mauled by Greyback and left with permnanent, untreatable scars on the side of his face. Despite his disfigurement Fleur still stayed with him - she was horrified that Bill's mother would even think that Fleur would throw off the wedding for something like that.

And Cho is a human hosepipe? Okay, so if someone you really loved died and you started developing feelings for the last person who saw him alive - also being rumoured by some idiots to have played a part in his death - would you be okay with that? Cho and Cedric were probably together a lot longer than it's shown in the books and from personal experience, a year or a few months after a loved one's death, it still hurts. You break out into tears over the smallest things and it's so hard to realize that they're gone. I would've thought something was wrong with Cho if she wasn't so heartbroken the way it's portrayed in the books.

tl;dr: Your trollish comments about awesome Harry Potter chicks are invalid and you are stupid. Good day.

*applauds* And that's just the Harry Potter characters.

Aerith was a healer. She was good at what she did. While strength was her weak stat, she was plenty good at reviving the party. She was also quite a feisty strong character. She did what she could to protect the planet. I don't see what's weak about that.

Princess Peach is far from stupid and weak. That's like saying Princess Zelda is stupid and weak. Just because their being kidnapped is essential to the plot of the game, doesn't mean that they don't know how to fight or how to handle themselves. Have you ever played Super Smash Brothers? Peach can kick some serious ass.

From what I've seen of May (which isn't much) she isn't that boring. She seems like an average preteen girl. Like Misty. She isn't tomboyish, but both of them had girly interests and liked to work hard towards their goals. Besides, this kind of makes you sound like a butthurt Misty fan. Really, Misty was just as flawed as other girls. She could be a total jerk at times while May had a rather nice relationship with Ash. (Pokeshipper here btw)

I was initially going to agree with you OP until that second paragraph. I mean, really the sexy, feisty red head tropes gets dull when those are the only kind of red heads there are.
