I think the movies inspired all the shipping hate to bubble up from people's hearts again. XD

I don't mind actually, I missed it the first time around since I wasn't really in any of the HP fandoms on LJ/community boards/at all.

Well, I suppose as long as the second go around isn't anywhere near as nasty as the first... I wasn't even involved in a ship and the shipping wars affected my fandom experience, I can't even imagine what it's like for those who were directly involved. Some of the stuff that happened was just vile.
