I think I will ship this because I shipped Wikus/Christopher soooo hard for months after District 9 came out. And still do.

I can't wait for this movie! The characters look absolutely endearing, especially the monster. I don't blame you for shipping them on sight, they're so cute <3

I just hope my country will do a decent dub. It's always dangerous when the original features musicicans voicing the characters, because it means they will probably try to go for musicians in the dub as well and... they can't act for shit. I hope they hire professional voice actors to do the job when this gem gets imported.

Ahh, I got to see the music sequence the two of them share a week or so ago, the music is amazingly catchy and the animation looks gorgeous. The one thing that worries me is that it doesn't look like the lip movement always matches up with the words? Hard to be sure, since I don't know the language, but...

...regardless of that, though, it looks like a fun movie, and I definitely see where you're coming from with the ship.

IIRC, the lip movement doesn't match because it was animated to sync up to the English dubbing, not the original French.

Is that even an issue in this day and age? I'm sure you'll be able to find a translation soon enough after its release.

American, British, Japanese, French, Korean (just thinking of stuff I own, off the top of my head)... if a movie (or any type of art) is good, it's good regardless of where it's from, and can be enjoyed by anyone no matter where they come from.
