THAT'S RIGHT. Some delightful person wrote an awesome story in which Erik Lehnsherr invented strip chess! Every piece has an article of clothing assigned to it and when the person you're playing against takes the piece, you take it off (the king = underwear). It's an awesome fic and makes me want to play it SO BAD and I honestly think everyone who knows how to play chess should read it EVEN IF THEY'RE NOT IN THIS FANDOM....but OP said this fandom is already ruining their game by turning chess into foreplay. DILEMMA.
