I'm more annoyed by the pairings being set in stone than anything else when they were so young when they got together instead of what those pairings are, but Korra looks amazing. I can't imagine letting bitterness about anything from the first series get in the way of enjoying LoK, not when everything that's come out about it has been so intriguing.

This, very much so. It's not that I thought Aang/Katara was dumb or anything (I think it was very intelligently handled in the beginning and was well developed), I just am ALWAYS looking for a piece of work where the pairing changes with time because that's how life goes. There's one popular book series I know of that has shown this in a wonderful way, but considering how many fandoms I know, that's kinda sad.

WOW THIS WAS LONG AND IRRELEVENT. UM NEVERMIND. I meant to add that I'm suuuper stoked for Korra and I think it'll go beyond everyone's expectations.
