I will confess to falling in love with Harry Potter the moment my aunt offhandedly lent me her copy of Sorcerer's Stone, but Prydain was my first. Those good old days with Taran, Fflewdurr, Eilonwy, Gurgi...I was crying buckets over Coll for the umpteenth time years before Dumbledore bit the dust (and crying equally sorrowful tears over the Disney adaptation).
Hell, Prydain is pre-FANDOM for me. It's rather nice to remember a series without any crazed fanwank...
In short, thank you for remembering Prydain, anon. It's wonderful to know that someone else does!
