Oh man, that makes so much more sense. I just thought they couldn't be arsed to make a separate secret dedicated to the spongebob thing so they decided to go for a twofer

Spongebob was a classmate of the girls who kept wanting to show people a photo of himself in a coma. IIRC, her brother got overwhelmed at college and ended up flunking out or dropped out and had to move back home.

I have never watched this film because I remember in Entertainment Weekly this movie was totally bashed. BUT I do remember when my two BFFs and I were broke and alone at like the age of 20, we were at Target and one of my friends picks up the movie and says, "OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS MOVIE! We need to watch it together!" Me and my other friend, "LOL NO! That movie seemed so dumb!" Him, "No, really! I can see us doing what they did in the film."

We never did watch it, but after seeing this secret, I may have to go buy this DVD and request for a BFFs movie night. T_T

It's a pretty enjoyable movie. And apparently a lot of teenagers relate to the characters, so that's a plus.
