1) Not every woman is prone to them, and might rarely-to-never get UTIs even if they don't rush to the bathroom.
And!
2) It's fiction. You don't see too many people washing their hands before cooking, either, or using birth control, or getting uncomfortable grow back after shaving. Peeing in general isn't something that happens often. People will drink six beers in a scene and never break to go to the bathroom! Some of these things don't get written about because it's fun for many to pretend they don't exist, but also, a lot of them don't get written about because realistically, they add very little to the scene.
I get how that might be taking suspension of disbelief too far for you... but at the same time, I just don't see a reason to make that the line in the sand where things become too unbelievable.
