equal helping of good and bad qualities

IDK about them, but I don't know how you think a guy who was a bully in high school and then continues to act like a stupid teenager after 13 years of non-stop torture is equal to a guy who hung out with Magic Nazis and probably murdered people, bullied children as an adult, and was generally a huge douche to everyone even while being the "good guy" because he couldn't get over his obsessions.

The point still stands even if you call them Death Eaters instead of Magic Nazis - although, of course "Magic Nazis" is exactly what Death Eaters are...

Rowling herself admitted there were parallels between the Death Eaters and Nazis, so I think it's a warranted comparison in this case.
