I've never had this issue nor heard of this 'remedy', but frankly, after having sex I want to go do bit of washing, and usually shower. I have no interest in lying in bed leaking. Yuck.

If you used a condom, it's really not that bad, and there's something 'naughty' about going about your business just a little slick down there afterwards. But I suspect that's a personal kink - adds spice for some people, squicks others, doesn't enter into some people's minds at all. (It'd squick me if there wasn't a condom involved; I think the smell of semen would be too obvious after a while.)

Even with a condom there's usually lube and such, and i just cannot tolerate being sticky/drippy/whatever. And yes, smell is an issue, too.

For me? Giant squick. It irritates me in movies and tv shows, too.
