I...can actually see Russia like that, tbh. I know he isn't ah...'slow' like Lennie, but he is supposed to be a tad insane in a way I think would work for the role.

I had to play Lennie for a drama presentation last year and dude, I totally made the connection with Russia and Lennie. They have some characteristics in common, and using that it helped me understand Lennie better and I ended up getting a good mark on that presentation :)
