Kinda curious, but what about this cover tips people towards actively commenting about their assumed uninterest in it? I just don't often see replies to a comment like the first one here, and the cover looks somewhat distinctive -- at least, I haven't seen the reptile-mount-with-weapon bit before, which makes it look not as entirely humorless as a lot of fantasy book covers appear to be. Though for all I know, it's as done as armed men in metal and leather gear posing with weapons and looks of concern next to a woman in a diaphanous gown stirred by the wind, and maybe there's a dragon or rearing horse, all at varying distances from a castle.

I have bb! I loved the Bazil Broketail series to death! It's too bad his books are out of print now, I feel like he did the "a man and his dragon" concept better than Naomi Novik did.

I'm pretty sure you can buy them used on amazon or ebay. There's still plenty of copies available, but I think they stopped printing them. :(
