But either way you respect tomboys and their varied depiction in media? Okay.

I think the only thing that makes any clear sense is your Scout background. That IS Scout, isn't it?

So you weren't a tomboy but you respect the characters because even though you can't empathise with them it's good that they're not all the same?

Or you were a tomboy, and none of the characters were like you were, but you think that's good because people are all different?
