I guess I can see you being bored by Weir, but I loved her. I can see her being boring to some, because her personality is what makes her a good leader of Atlantis.

(though my somewhat unpopular opinion, judging by reviews and shit, is that The Real World is one of the best SGA episodes around, Weir-centric, hell yes. I don't care if it's been done before, I enjoy the crap out of that episode.)

Weir was OK although definitely not one of my favorites, but this was one of the more boring of SGA eps. I never wanted to watch it again after seeing it the first time.

Rodney was one of my favorites, but they overused him to the point I started to resent him being onscreen so much. I wanted more team episodes.

I was never a huge fan of Weir, but that's probably because they epically destroyed her character later on. But I did like her quite a bit in the earlier seasons, although I am not a fan of the subtext between her and Sheppard, she seems way too...Momish...which I suppose is what makes her a good leader. That probably made no sense.

also I love McKay. LOVE. FANTASTICALLY.

Why is it that every time there's an SGA secret, the ensuing discussion somehow gets around to Weir and someone just has to say something about how they don't like Weir, don't like any hints of Weir/Sheppard, blah blah blah. But they never go out of their way to diss any other heterosexual pairings involving Sheppard.

I really like tarsiers, they're really a cool animal, what with the big eyes and everything. I bet it would make a great pet.

I also dislike Sheppard/Teyla, their relationship to me seemed only ever platonic, something akin more to siblings, twins really, imo. They have an amazing connection but nothing that I ever thought was romantic/sexual.

I am mostly okay with Sheppard/Ancients in all forms, it adds to the whole, 'messed up at relationships thing'. I also wish we could have learned more about Nancy, I was intrigued by what little we saw of her.

I wasn't aware that my dislike of the romantic pairing meant that it was instilling me with some kind of fear. Thank you anon, for letting me know. Geez, I didn't think it was possible to BE pairingphobic. Maybe I am heterophobic? I dunno, you've definitely given me a lot to consider.

Cos see I always just thought it was an opinion of dislike/disinterest. I apologize profusely for offering my opinion in a non confrontational and polite way.
