Also, why the hell haven't they shown us the new Mobile Suits yet? In name they're not really Gundams, but you can't really tell until you've seen them.

I know the feeling, OP. While my own OTP was all nice and confirmed, I still tend to stick my fingers in my ears and mutter "nahnahnahnah" under my breath whenever Frozen Teardrop is brought up. It single-handedly sent realism out the window :/.

My friend and I have pretty much decided to ignore it, and consider it non-canon. Not for shipping purposes, but because we basically think it sucks. May I suggest you do the same, anon? It makes it all better.

I always ignore these sorts of things and didn't know anything more about it than the name, but this secret made me scared so I went and read the whole wiki entry. *fans self* Thank God, 13x5 is still perfectly safe lol

IDK, I haven't really read anything besides the prologue translated by Zeonic, but the whole thing kinda... Well, I don't want to go with everyone else, but it really seems fanfic-y, as far as I've read the summaries.

I'd really wish the novelization had been a revised and expanded version of the anime, as Glory of the Losers (I like 'Defeated' better, but it's the official tranlation) seems to be, although the first few chapters are really the first episodes condensed and summed up.

The G Gundam manga, on the other hand, has around 100 pages a month and, AFAIK G, it's been pretty faithful to the source material.

Some of the plot twists as you get farther in aren't that bad.

I think I'm the only person who likes what they've heard about it so far, although it still exists in the murky place between canon and fanfic in my mind. That may be partly because my OTP, shown in my icon, is still technically possible but will probably never EVER be made fully canon. (And instead, we're given a het replacement. Oh, joy. Quaterine, or however you spell her name, is cute, though.)

Haha, yes, there is that. Mine had to be outright addressed by virtue of the main character. Yours is... probably as close to canon as it'll get - no conflicting ships in action, still as close as ever, and a het expy! xD You lucky 3x4 kids.

Have to admit, it has an odd plot, but I'm still excited for it, if only cause Gundam Wing is getting recognized again.

I never did ship 5xS though. >> I actually semi ship 1xS. Those two had almost as much time together on screen as 5xS and there were many times when Sally seemed more concerned for Heero than she did Wufei. Not to say she didn't care about Wufei though, she did. *shrug* Oh well. I just wanna see, completely, what they're gonna do with this. :3

I honestly never thought of Heero and Sally. It just never occurred to me. But now that I'm thinking on it...I can see it. But I always shipped Heero and Trowa together. But I liked that there were really no *confirmed* pairings, as far as I knew, so anything could go really. Not so much now, I guess.

Gundam Wing was my first fandom. I just...saw this secret and looked up waht it was and my brain short-circuited and did this loop of HOW WHAT WHY WHAT before finally going "I can't" and shutting down.

I am sorry for your ship. That is a silly one to sink, because I always figured 5xS to be one of the more plausible ones. :\

Meanwhile I am...somewhat relieved to see 3x4 being safe and 2xH being confirmed. Yay! Although I have no desire to read this at all. But I might anyway if given access just because it looks like a train wreck. Tell me it's not as bad as it sounds, OP. Tell me.

I'm not OP, but I'm enjoying what I've read of the series so far, at least from a cracky fanfic perspective. I'd really like to see an animated version of it, like they're doing with Gundam Unicorn.

In my head, FT is fanfic. Really cracky fanfic written by the original creator. That is the only way how I can cope with the fact that Duo has a son named Duo. (Although I have to say, Dorothy being the president of the world was kinda awesome. haha)
