(Anonymous) 2011-08-13 01:41 am (UTC)(link)it's not that you care about people knowing your appearance, i suspect that a lot of people have attitudes about weight and appearance that are skewed by their own weight. often that comes out in a kind of anxiety about appearance that maybe manifests in anxiety about people who are thin. i don't know there are a bunch of different things that could happen but the point is, even though no one on the internet knows one is fat, it still shapes one's attitudes about weight and appearance, and when you're talking about weight and appearance those attitudes come out
does this make sense. also your posts are really funny, just wanted to put that out there.
