you should totally go back, dude! I'm sure they wouldn't even care about old drama anymore, they'd just want to see you alive and well and try to help you out.

I recently went back to an old group of friends after being scared shitless that I was gonna mess everything up and everyone would hate me. But they welcomed me with open arms, and since everyone's gotten more mature in the long gap of no communication (including me), everything went better than expected. :D
