Well, he's not just a sexist, borderline alcoholic homophobe with a superiority complex and an unhealthy obsession with male bonding, he's a brilliantly acted one. Philip Glenister brings a lot of charisma to the role that your average next-door sexist, bordeline alcoholic homophobe probably doesn't have. Damn you, Glenister! *fistshake*

Me too. I'm completely baffled as to why I'm madly attracted to him. I was around in the 70's and being the only woman working in a male dominated job he is just the sort of man/men I worked alongside whilst fighting with for women's rights for decades.

It does worries me that maybe deep down, even with all my women's lib stuff, because I grew up with men like him, I sort of understand him and feel comfortable with him!
