::hugs:: I'm really sorry you're having a hard time in high school. I know it probably won't help to say this but you shouldn't give those people the time of day. They're never going to like you for you and you don't want friends like that in your life -- it'll only eat away at your soul.

I wish I could say it gets easier once you leave high school and to some extent it does because then you can avoid people who treat you like shit/you don't have to be around them. If you go to university you might want to try going to a smaller school that fits your interest. I went to a huge university (200+ people in certain classes) and I just faded into the background and didn't make very many friends.

It can be a hard road but I'm sure you'll find people who appreciate you for you and who you can be yourself with. And even if that ends up only being one or two people it's still worth everything in the long run.

Actually, depending on her high school, OP might actually want to go to a larger university. I was bullied throughout elementary and middle school, in an incredibly small school system where there were 70 kids to a grade, max, and you knew everybody in your grade and were stuck with them. I changed school systems for high school and went to one with 400 kids to a grade, and I was never happier knowing that only a small portion of my grade-mates actually knew who I was.
