So at first I thought it said HL instead of HP and I was like... how can anyone be snobby with H/L?

But you can do something easy if your flister starts writing fic and you're worried about snobbery: don't read it. Shocking, I know, but it works.

Supernatural and Glee manips can get pretty fucking creepy, too. I don't understand the fascination with them.

In some parts of the SS/HG community Snape is though of as a Mr.Darcy type of character. Due to his moodiness. Trufax.

So that is why you get regency-type fics which have him paired with Hermione, who is thought of as a Elizabeth type character.

But Darcy's not really a jerk. Not really; it's part misunderstanding, part Darcy being in a grumpy mood the first time people met him.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around this comment but it's hard to do so.
