this reminds me of the whole "if you only had time to save one being from drowning in a river, would you choose your dog or a human stranger?"

fuck it, i'd choose my dog and wouldn't look back. too bad if that makes me a monster. i'd be happier with my dog alive than a random stranger who i'll never see again. and when it all comes down to it, i'm living life for myself and my happiness. and i'd be happy knowing my dog is alive and safe.
