Zelda has one of my favorite villain songs ever. Just a really great 'get your gloat on' song. On the basis of that alone, I can't hate the sequels.

And, see, YOU'RE intelligent and have the right idea about the takeover.

Yea, totally with you about their relationship. I definitely thought they were lovers (although Derek/Odette still is my OTP for Swan Princess...yes, I know Derek's not that great a prize but hey, I saw the show when I was 7, and childhood nostalgia, you know? :D)

I have all three movies. I bought the last 2 when I was 21. I'm 23 now...still love them all! :) (And you're right--the 2nd one is funnier)

I thought the Swan Princess sequels were pretty entertaining. Not really necessary and certainly not as memorable as the first movie, but fun to watch.

(And I hate almost every actual Disney sequel, so I was almost surprised.)

I love the first one best. The second one was...okay, but yes I agree it's funnier. And I can't stand the third one. I thought it was pretty obvious Zelda had feelings for him, but she didn't interest me as a villain at all.

Pft I'm 21. The first movie was my favorite as a child, and I watched the movie and sequels just last year and fall in love all over again.

Honestly I thought all the movies were pretty bad but Rothbart made the first one tolerable. I liked Rogers/Uberta too, I wish they had hooked up.
