I don't ship anyone in that series. I just enjoy it as is. I can hang a ship off anything, but I have no desire to ship them at all.

Glad the secret was legible, I was worried.

I know, its weird. I love the series as a whole, but I also like shipping them together...and it does make me uncomfortable knowing most people who read the story don't ship at all.

OP, if this is about a couple who just happens to be male/male, I might take a look at it! A lot of manga has REALLY unrealistic ideas about what it's like to be gay and being in a gay relationship, so I tend to avoid BL/yaoi stuff.

Unfortunately, this isn't a gay title. Its just a shonen manga. But the main characters, Oga and Furuichi, are pretty close and have an awesome friendship, and I enjoy that they are equals, not just hero + fanboy (which devolves often into seme/uke dynamics in fanon).

I ship 'em like crazy, but I'm a multishipper so I'm into a bunch of the other pairings too. The Oga/Furuichi stuff is for adorable lols, basically. I don't really understand your secret, OP. Why're your shipping predilections making you question your sexuality? You can be interested in relationships of all types while having your own personal desires. Love is fascinating in every flavor, no matter the wrapper it comes in.

That's a loaded question. I don't think I've figured out why I'm so confused either, but, I think I'll give it a shot:

I really love Oga and Furuichi's friendship. And I enjoy reading romances that grow out of friendships...so I guess I end up comparing my own life with fiction. I have lots of close friendships, but they're all with women, leading me to wonder if I just prefer female company to men's.

I hope that makes sense? I over-identify too much. =/

I've always prefered a pairing with two bros with strong personalities bouncing off eachother that happened to be in a relationship too.
