look, i don't think this song/video glorifies rape. it just portrays one. just because rihanna and the rapist are both conventionally attractive, it doesn't mean it's a fantasy. it's completely the opposite :|

Agreed. When I watched the video, it really scared me a lot, as it was supposed to. If one wanted to argue it glorifies murder, maybe that could be made (though I wouldn't agree with it), but definitely not rape. Most of the shots of the rape were of her fearful face, so it wasn't meant to be sexy at all.

Um, are you sure we watched the same video? Because unlike a lot of hip hop, "Man Down" most definitely did not glorify rape
