That scene was really cool! I enjoyed the movie in general, was a total noob with no expectations either! (My brother had tickets and I was curious about the actors) I wish I could have seen it in english though :X German dub was okay, but oh well...

I saw it in English first and then the German dub. It's not like they say different things (no jokes that can't be translated or things like that). But it was really weird to hear a different voice actor than Kim Hasper dubbing James Franco this time. I'm not very fond of voice swaps.

It was a different voice actor? I didn't notice because the only other movies I know James Franco from (Spider-Man movies, James Dean and 127 Hours) I watched in english. That is... I saw the Spider-Man movies in german as well, but that's been yeeears ago, before I got the DVDs and could choose. xD I do like Kim Hasper though, mainly as JD from Scrubs.

But yeah, I generally hate voice swaps too! Sometimes it fits, though. I wouldn't mind e.g. Tom Felton getting a voice swap because I don't like his german voice actor too much (Tom Felton's roles are the only ones he got so far anyway AFAIK). And Jared Padalecki would be a good example, his german VA Wanja Gerick doesn't fit him at all anymore, it always sounds ridiculous in Supernatural.

I have to agree with the Supernatural dub. I don't know why both of them but especially Jared got voices that just don't fit. If I just watch in German it gets better after a while but the dub just doesn't hold up to the original. Makes me cringe every time.
