Sorry, you're right: I was overbearing in my use of the term for everybody. That wasn't fair. And the interview itself, too, to be fair, is also awfully obscure.

That said, though, I don't see why it makes a difference that the character in question is a minor one. Do you mean that it would be worth more to talk about if it were a main/major character we were talking about?

i meant like, since grell is a minor character her issues aren't really that relevant to the overarching plot so she won't be fleshed out and might not be as popular so people don't see the need to look for obscure interviews to find that one line that defines her as trans

i was basically saying

correcting prejudice is great and you should do it whereever you encounter it, but you shouldn't treat people like transphobic assholes just because they might not know a FICTIONAL CHARACTER is trans and i think people should channel that energy into the real world and helping real people instead of whining on a f!s thread
